Introduction: Nephrotoxicity is a common adverse effect that alters the clearance of lithium, which is eliminated predominantly by the kidneys.
General Objective: Describe clinical cases related to Lithium poisoning.
Materials and methods: Retrospective study of clinical cases related to Lithium poisoning.
Results: 100% presented neurological disorders, requiring initiation of renal replacement therapy.
Conclusion: The small gap between the therapeutic limit and the toxic limit can endanger patients who have a precise indication.
